Welcome to the new place, don’t you just love that new site smell?
I’m still working out a few kinks so things might change a little but the overall look of PseudoHR is what you see. I’m updating the blogroll by hand, Wordpress doesn’t export that, if I’ve left you off or if you’d like to be added please shoot my an email at pseudohr@gmail.com.
This move has been a long time coming for me. I’ve procrastinated over it for many, many weeks. I don’t know why, a woman’s’ prerogative and all.
I blame the final inspiration on Ben over at UpstartHR. He asked me countless times when I was going to make the move and I guess I just got tired of hearing my own excuses. Which brings me to a point, what have you been putting off lately and making lame excuses for?
Is there something in your personal or professional life that you know you need to do but you keep putting it off? Getting a certification, going back to school, asking for a raise, doing something funky with your hair…….Do you need a push to get it done? Here’s my advice, suck it up and do it. Once it’s done, you’ll feel great and you can move on to the next big thing.
I’m looking forward to what’s next in my life, stay tuned……

Oooh, pwetty! I just found out at least one thing I need to be doing: actually define what it is I am looking for job-wise. Because no one will hire me if I can’t even tell them what they should hire me for.
Looks like someone’s got some brainstorming to do this weekend!
ps: will you add me to your blogroll? I promise to make funny comments.
@DysfunctionJunction Welcome! If you promise to make funny comments I will totally add you to the blogroll! Be sure to have a kick ass response as to why they should hire you for a position. Like I told a hiring manager today, anyone that makes me think and laugh at the same time during an interview is almost a sure fire hire.
This is fantastic!
@Lucentabella Thank you, thank you
And thanks for putting me on your blogroll! I’ll update mine!
I like the new digs. I started my blog self-hosting but haven’t explored the whole theme thing yet. You are motivating me to do so. Thanks! Also, I’ve been putting off training for a half-marathon in early October. If I don’t start soon, it will be a miserable experience.
@Tim Anyone that can run a half marathon gets kudos in my book, I like cake way too much for that business. I love the options with the themes, the back in customizing tried to kick my butt over the weekend but I showed it who was boss.
April- love the new site! I’ve been getting pressure to make the leap myself. For now, will you add my blog to your blogroll? It’s http://hrringleader.wordpress.com. Keep up the great posts.
Trish
@Trish I cant imagine you the pressure would be fron (ahem…Ben…ahem). Thanks for the reminder to add you, I knew I would forget some of my favs.
The ‘new’ look is great! Like it
Been trying to work on a HR collateral for sometime now. Will finish it…today!
Btw..does having your blog on my blogroll, qualify me to make it to your list?
Off course, I’ll still continue to comment even if I dont make it there…your posts as usual gets me to wear my ‘thinking hat’ quite often.
@TheHRStore Thanks! And yes, it totally does qualify you
Consider yourself added!
Great, clean, professional look. It is refreshing, airy and very upbeat. Nice job!
@Lisa Thanks, I was aiming for airy. The other one was too cramped for my taste.
April-
