Are you satisfied with where you are in your career or with company you run?
According to our CEO, he’s never satisfied. He says he wakes up every morning with an attitude of dissatisfaction. Now I know what you are thinking, wow that’s got to be a great place to work (sarcasm a plenty).
Here’s his point. If you are satisfied with where you are now in your career, life, company, or whatever, what reason do you have to improve and what reason do you have to strive for success? A stagnant life of complacency is boring and you can quickly find yourself left behind in today’s fast paced environments.
If you are never satisfied you are always looking for something better, something more to learn and new ways to grow. I personally get bored easy so a life of being content just knowing what I know isn’t enough for me. I need something to learn, something soak up, something to change, something to do.
Don’t be satisfied with where you are, get out in life and be passionate about something. Learn a new skill, a new language, find new ways to improve your companies customer service; don’t just be, do.

This post couldn’t have come at a better time! The same thought got me to enroll for an MBA program in a top university (while I continue to work at my current job)…also enrolled for French classes starting next month! There’s this feeling of ‘It’s Never Enough’ that drives me to do something new all the time.
Wow! It’s almost like you read my mind.
@HRStore – Good for you! I have the ‘never enough’ feeling too, it also fuels my addictions to the bookstore.
