About Your Pseudo Leader

PseudoHR  has evolved as a way for me to share the great HR stories I hear, topics about leadership and management, social media and occasionally a funny off topic picture or video. I like to share my opinion and ask questions from other HR pros.  Along the way I hope to provide good and useful information to any non-HR readers I might have.

There will still be opinionated posts and/or rants so continue at your own risk.

A little about the author: April Dowling, SPHR is an experienced HR Generalist in Alabama.  The majority of her HR expertise is in Financial Industry, specifically Credit Unions, but she conquered that in 2008 and has since moved on to something more challenging, Healthcare Services.

April volunteers with her local SHRM chapter, BSHRM, on the Communications Committee as well as the Community Relations Committee.

April enjoys learning new skills and considers herself a perpetual student.  She reads any book she can get her hand on, mostly business books but enjoys a good fiction novel just the same. In her spare time she likes to be a ninja with her husband while chasing their cat around the house.

April is certified through the HRCI as a  SPHR.
