April Dowling, SPHRApril Dowling, SPHR is an experienced HR Generalist in Alabama.  The majority of her HR expertise is in Financial Industry, specifically Credit Unions but in 2008, in an effort to learn more she moved on to something more challenging, Healthcare Services.

April volunteers with her local SHRM chapter, BSHRM, on the Communications Committee and is the editor in chief of the chapter blog SHRMingham.

April enjoys learning new skills and considers herself a perpetual student.  She reads any book she can get her hands on.  In her spare time she enjoys chasing her cat around the house.

April is certified through the HRCI as a SPHR.

I ran across your blog and just wanted to wish you good luck. I’m a new HR blogger that was inspired by others such as Punk Rock HR. If you stick with blogging you’ll find it to be a very rewarding experience(just like HR).
